    Care tips

Phlomoides tuberosa prefers well-drained soil and a sunny location. Cut back spent flower spikes after blooming to encourage a tidy appearance. It requires minimal feeding—just a light application of compost in spring.

    Winter care

This hardy perennial dies back in winter, but its underground tubers survive cold temperatures well. Apply a light mulch in late autumn to protect the roots in particularly harsh climates.
