Planting guide
Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny spot. Allow space for air circulation to prevent mildew – spacing around 30–40cm apart is ideal. Mix in grit if your soil is heavy.
Care tips
Deadhead spent blooms regularly to encourage continuous flowering. Cut back in late autumn or early spring to maintain a compact shape. Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to support healthy growth and flowering.
Winter care
Hardy in most parts of the UK, though mulching around the base in colder regions will protect the roots during severe frost. Avoid waterlogging in winter.
