Why we like this plant
Anemone 'Blanda Mixed' brings a sense of spontaneity and delight wherever it is planted. The flowers seem to appear overnight, dancing above finely cut foliage in a joyful medley of colour. These are among the first blooms to open with the spring sunshine, closing again in shade or at dusk, giving them an almost magical quality. They thrive when tucked into crevices, along paths, or allowed to spread gently among other early perennials, creating soft pools of colour that grow more charming with each passing year.
Planting guide
Soak tubers before planting in autumn. Plant 5 cm deep and 8 to 10 cm apart in well-drained soil, in full sun or partial shade.
Care tips
Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering. Once settled, these anemones will return yearly, forming slowly spreading colonies. Avoid waterlogged soil during dormancy.
