Why we like this plant
Narcissi 'Canaliculatus' is admired for its dainty charm and ease of growth, evoking a sense of pastoral tranquillity. Its modest size and gentle perfume make it ideal for weaving into naturalistic borders or woodlands where it can quietly carpet the ground. This variety recalls the classic wild daffodil, celebrated in English countryside gardens and cherished for bringing a soft glow to early spring mornings.
Planting guide
Plant bulbs in autumn, 10 to 12 cm deep and 8 to 10 cm apart, in moist but well-drained soil, preferably in part shade.
Care tips
Leave foliage to die back fully before trimming to help replenish the bulb. Lift and divide clumps every few years to maintain vigour and promote flowering.
