Why we like this plant
Narcissi 'Silver Chimes' is much admired for its poise and clarity, with delicate flowers that seem to float like notes in the air. The pale colouring gives a sense of calm and refinement, making it an excellent partner for late tulips or alliums. The multiple blooms on each stem create a full, arching effect that moves gently in the breeze. Planted in groups, it forms a subtle yet striking presence as spring draws to a close.
Planting guide
Plant bulbs in autumn, 10 to 12 cm deep and 10 cm apart, in well-drained soil with full or partial sun.
Care tips
Leave the foliage to fade naturally after flowering to allow the bulbs to store energy. Divide and replant clumps every few years to keep them vigorous and flowering well.
