Planting guide
Plant deeply (5–8cm below soil level) in fertile, well-drained soil. Provide a trellis or nearby shrub for support. Keep the base cool with mulch or low ground cover plants.

Cut back hard in late winter (Group 3). Feed with a balanced fertiliser in spring. Mulch annually to conserve moisture and keep the roots cool. Water in prolonged dry spells.
