Why we like this plant
Tulip 'Little Beauty' lives up to its name with jewel-like blooms that seem to glow against its tidy foliage. A member of the species tulips, it is reliable, resilient, and ideal for naturalistic schemes. The combination of cerise-pink petals and a central blue eye ringed with white is wonderfully unusual, catching attention even at a distance. Perfect for gravel gardens, alpine beds, or pots, it thrives in sunny positions and often returns year after year, forming cheerful clumps with little fuss.
Planting guide
Plant in autumn, 8 to 10 cm deep and 6 to 8 cm apart, in free-draining soil with full sun exposure.
Care tips
Allow flowers to fade naturally and foliage to yellow undisturbed. In well-drained conditions, bulbs will multiply over time. Lift and divide every few years if clumps become congested.
