Why we like this plant
Tulip 'Purple Doll' is small in stature but generous in colour, offering velvety richness with an air of charm. Its low height and tidy habit make it especially suited to intimate spaces where every detail can be admired. Lovely grouped in drifts or partnered with pale yellows, soft whites, or even bright blues for contrast, it brings a jewel-like quality to early spring plantings.
Planting guide
Plant bulbs in autumn, 10 to 12 cm deep and 8 to 10 cm apart, in well-drained soil in full sun.
Care tips
Remove spent flowers promptly and allow foliage to die back fully. In well-drained soils, the bulbs may return in following years. In heavy or damp conditions, lift and store once the leaves have withered.
