Why we like this plant
‘Wedding Day’ offers a soft yet showy presence in the summer garden, perfect for brightening up vertical structures with refined simplicity. Its tidy size suits smaller spaces, and the pure-white blooms are especially effective against dark backgrounds or paired with deeper-toned companions.

Planting guide
Plant in spring or autumn in fertile, well-drained soil. Set the crown 5–8cm below soil level and provide a support to climb. Keep roots cool and shaded, ideally with ground cover or mulch.
Care tips
Feed monthly during the growing season with a high-potash fertiliser. Deadhead to encourage more blooms and water regularly in dry spells, especially when grown in containers.
Winter care
Prune hard in late winter or early spring (Group 3). Mulch base with organic matter and protect roots with a thick layer if grown in pots.
