Planting guide
Plant corms in spring in well-drained soil, positioning them 7–10cm deep. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot and water well during establishment.
Care tips
Divide congested clumps every few years to maintain flowering strength. Stake lightly if grown in exposed positions.
Winter care
Leave foliage in place over winter to protect the corms, then cut back in spring. In cold or exposed gardens, apply a mulch for added protection.
