Planting guide
Soak tubers in water for a few hours before planting to rehydrate them. Plant with the claws facing down, around 5cm deep, in fertile, free-draining soil. Autumn planting under cover gives earlier flowers, while spring planting is best outdoors once frost risk has passed.
Care tips
Water regularly during active growth, ensuring good drainage. Feed fortnightly with a balanced fertiliser while flowering. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong the display.
