Why we like this plant
With its unique pink blooms and strong architectural presence, Salvia 'Caradonna Pink Inspiration' is perfect for adding vertical interest and soft colour contrast to garden borders.
-
About this plant
A beautiful variation of the classic 'Caradonna', this variety features delicate pink flowers instead of deep violet-blue, creating a softer, romantic look while retaining the dramatic dark stems. With its upright, clump-forming habit and aromatic foliage, it makes an excellent addition to cottage gardens, borders, and pollinator-friendly planting schemes. Like other salvias, it thrives in well-drained soil and full sun, offering a long flowering period with minimal maintenance.

Planting guide
Space plants 30–45cm apart in well-drained soil. Water well after planting and during dry spells until established.
Care tips
Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming and cut back old stems in early spring for fresh growth. Apply a light feed in spring to promote healthy flowering.
Winter care
Fully hardy, but a layer of mulch in colder areas helps protect roots from frost. Leaving some spent stems over winter can provide shelter for wildlife.
