    Planting guide

Space plants 25–35cm apart in well-drained soil. Water well after planting and during dry spells until established.

    Care tips

Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Deadhead spent flowers regularly to prolong blooming, and cut back old stems in early spring to encourage fresh growth. Apply a general-purpose fertiliser in spring for optimal performance.

    Winter care

Hardy in most UK climates. In colder regions, apply a mulch in autumn to protect the roots. Leaving some spent stems over winter can help provide shelter for beneficial insects.
