Why we like this plant
Tulip 'Cabanna' stands out for its gentle colouring and graceful, slightly wild form. As the blooms mature, the green and pink tones deepen and blend beautifully with the creamy base, giving each flower a hand-painted look. The feathery edges add texture, making this tulip a lovely counterpoint to more structured forms. Ideal in pastel planting schemes, it pairs well with soft purples, dusty apricots, and silvery foliage. It also holds its shape well when cut, bringing elegance and a touch of the exotic to spring arrangements.
Planting guide
Plant bulbs in autumn, 15 cm deep and 10 to 12 cm apart, in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.
Care tips
Deadhead promptly after flowering and allow foliage to die back naturally. 'Cabanna' performs best in well-drained positions and may return in following years. Lift bulbs in early summer where soils are heavy or damp.
