Planting guide

Plant tubers in spring after frosts have passed in fertile, well-drained soil. Position in full sun and stake taller stems if exposed to wind.

Care tips

Deadhead regularly to keep flowers coming and feed with a high-potash fertiliser during summer for the best performance.

Winter care

Lift tubers after the first frost in colder areas and store them in a frost-free place over winter. In milder gardens, apply a thick mulch for protection if leaving tubers in the ground.
