Planting guide

Plant in spring or autumn in moist but well-drained soil. It thrives in partial shade but will tolerate full sun if the soil remains moist. Water regularly during dry spells, especially in containers.

Care tips

Trim away old foliage in spring to encourage fresh growth. Avoid letting plants dry out completely in hot weather and divide congested clumps every few years if needed.

Winter care

Very low maintenance through winter. Remove any damaged or tired leaves in early spring to keep plants looking fresh. Protect container-grown plants from prolonged waterlogging.
