Planting guide

Plant in a sunny spot using fertile, well-drained compost or garden soil. Ensure containers have good drainage and water regularly during dry periods. Feed with a rose fertiliser in spring and midsummer to encourage continuous flowering.

Care tips

Deadhead faded flowers regularly to prolong blooming. Keep the soil evenly moist, especially for container-grown plants, and feed annually for healthy foliage and repeat flowering. Prune lightly each spring to maintain shape and vigour.

Winter care

Move container-grown plants to a sheltered spot during severe frost if possible. Prune lightly in autumn, then shape and reduce stems properly in late winter or early spring. Mulch around the base to protect roots and retain moisture.
