Planting guide

Plant in spring or early autumn in a warm, sunny spot with sharply drained soil. Add grit to heavy ground and avoid planting too deeply. Water well after planting, then keep on the dry side once established.

Care tips

Give it full sun and excellent drainage. Avoid rich, wet soil, especially in winter. Lightly trim after flowering to keep growth neat and bushy.

Winter care

Protect from cold, wet winter conditions. Grow in free-draining soil and avoid waterlogging. In exposed areas, shelter from harsh winds and trim damaged shoots in spring.
