Planting guide

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny, open position. Improve the soil with organic matter before planting and water thoroughly during dry periods while establishing. Feed in spring and midsummer with a rose fertiliser to encourage healthy growth and repeat flowering.

Care tips

Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering and maintain a tidy appearance. Water deeply during prolonged dry spells and ensure good airflow around the plant to keep foliage healthy. Prune annually for strong new growth and abundant blooms.

Winter care

Reduce stem height slightly in autumn to prevent wind damage. Carry out main pruning in late winter or early spring and apply a mulch of well-rotted compost around the base to protect roots and improve soil condition.
