Planting guide

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny position with good airflow. Improve the planting area with organic matter before planting and water regularly while establishing. Feed with a specialist rose fertiliser in spring and midsummer to encourage strong flowering.

Care tips

Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering and keep plants looking tidy. Water deeply during prolonged dry spells and feed annually to maintain healthy growth and vibrant blooms.

Winter care

Prune lightly in autumn to reduce wind damage, then carry out harder pruning in late winter or early spring. Apply a mulch of compost or well-rotted manure around the base to insulate roots and improve soil fertility over winter.
