Planting guide
Sow outdoors in late winter or early spring, or indoors from January–May. Pre-soak seeds 24 h before sowing at about 2–3 cm deep and 15–20 cm apart. Tie young shoots to a support to keep stems straight.
Care tips
Keep soil consistently moist (but well-drained). Feed every 4–6 weeks with a balanced fertiliser. Tie plants to supports regularly. Deadhead spent blooms to keep flowering.
Winter care
As an annual, it dies back after flowering; just clear away spent vines and sow again next year. No special winter protection needed.
