Planting guide
Plant in spring or autumn in a sunny, sheltered spot. Use a peat-free rose and shrub compost in containers or enrich garden soil with well-rotted manure. Water thoroughly after planting and keep moist during dry spells.
Care tips
Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Feed in early spring and again after the first flush of flowers. Keep well watered in summer, especially in containers.
Winter care
Prune back in late winter to maintain shape and encourage vigorous spring growth. Mulch around the base to protect roots from hard frosts.
