Planting guide
Choose a well-drained, humus-rich spot in full sun. Plant with graft union just at soil level, space about 60 cm apart, backfill with compost-enriched soil, water thoroughly, and mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
Care tips
Water regularly during dry conditions and feed monthly with a quality rose fertiliser from spring to midsummer. Deadhead spent flowers to ensure continuous blooming, and carry out a light prune in late winter for structure and air flow.
Winter care
Apply mulch around the base in autumn to protect roots. In late winter, prune to remove dead or crossing canes and shape the shrub, keeping the centre open for good air circulation.
