Planting guide

Plant in spring or early autumn in full sun and sharply drained soil. Avoid heavy wet ground, especially in winter. Space plants well to allow their flowing habit to develop naturally.

Care tips

Avoid excessive feeding, which can make growth floppy. Comb through foliage annually to keep plants fresh and tidy. Divide mature clumps in spring if needed.

Winter care

Leave foliage in place over winter for protection and seasonal interest. Comb through with gloved hands or trim lightly in early spring to remove dead growth before fresh shoots emerge.
