Planting guide

Plant in spring or early autumn in a sunny, well-drained spot. Water well during establishment, especially in containers. Allow space for it to spread naturally into edges, cracks or along borders.

Care tips

Trim lightly after the first flush to keep plants neat and encourage repeat flowering. Divide every few years if clumps become congested. Avoid overly rich or waterlogged conditions.

Winter care

Leave growth in place through winter for light protection, then trim back in early spring. Ensure plants are not sitting in cold, wet soil, especially in containers.
