Why we like this plant
Crocus 'Ard Schenk' captivates with its crisp, clean petals that highlight a cheerful yellow-orange heart. This lively combination adds a fresh burst of colour to early spring displays, pairing beautifully with both soft pastels and deeper hues. Ideal for planting in groups, it brings brightness and charm to the garden’s first blooms.
Planting guide
Plant corms in autumn, 7 to 10 cm deep and 5 to 7 cm apart, in well-drained soil with full sun or partial shade.
Care tips
Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering to nourish the corm for the next season. Divide clumps every few years to maintain vigour and prevent overcrowding.
