Description
Penstemon 'King George V' is a long-flowering perennial with spikes of large, scarlet-red tubular flowers, each with a white throat streaked with maroon. The flowers are held on upright stems above clumps of narrow, glossy, semi-evergreen leaves from early summer into autumn. A reliable older variety, it brings strong red to borders and is well visited by bees.
